The Galveston Island Humane Society pets of the week are Heisenberg and Bianca.

Heisenberg is a 2-year-old tabby with a pale orange coat and white accents on his chin, chest and paws. His big, golden eyes reflect his sweet and gentle spirit. Heisenberg was displaced during Hurricane Harvey because his owners were not allowed to take him to their new residence. We know he is a great family pet and that he gets along well with other cats. He loves to spend time in your lap while you watch TV or read a book. He is very friendly and would make a great companion.

Bianca is a 3-month-old pit bull mix with a short, shiny coat that is white with black spots. She has the most adorable floppy ears. She is full of energy and spunk. She loves being around people and she also loves other dogs. Because she is still a pup, her ideal home would consist of a loving, committed family with experience in training young energetic dogs; and she would fit best in a home without young children. Stop by today to meet this little ball of energy!

The holidays are nearing! Keep an eye out for adoption specials and shelter events. Maybe you can have your new best friend home for the holidays! Gift certificates are also available.

Come by the shelter or check the website to view and visit our family! All adoptions include the spay or neuter surgery, a microchip, current vaccinations and a month of pet insurance. These featured pets have an adoption sponsor allowing the adoption fee of $25 for this week only!
