The Galveston Island Humane Society pets of the week are Roma and Burrito.

Roma is a 1-year-old female cat who has a short brown coat with black tabby marks and dazzling green eyes. She came to us as a young mother of two kittens. She took great care of them with a fun, frisky personality; often playing with her babies. She gets along well with other cats and dogs and is an all-around friendly gal. Stop by to meet this single mom of two.

Burrito is an outgoing longhair Chihuahua with one ear always perked up and one always floppy. He is 3 years old and wants to be the center of attention in any room. He would fit wonderfully into a single-pet home where he can always be in the limelight. He gets along well with children of all ages. He will do anything for a treat. He likes to run, jump and play, but he also has a soft-sensitive side that likes to cuddle. Stop by to meet this handsome fellow.

Come by the shelter or check the website to view and visit our family. All adoptions include the spay or neuter surgery, a microchip, current vaccinations and a month of pet insurance. These featured pets have an adoption sponsor allowing the adoption fee of $25 for this week only.
