This week’s Galveston County Animal Resource Center pets of the week are Turtle and Symphony.

Turtle (A009713) is a domestic shorthair with a tortoiseshell coat. Turtle is a friendly, outgoing girl with big eyes and an inquisitive look on her face. Her coat is mingled with black, light orange and dark orange. Turtle is a young adult and ready to find her fur-ever home.

Symphony (A010523) is a sweet 2-year-old who enjoys the simple things like a warm lap and a belly rub. Symphony is happiest when she’s in the company of people.

Videos of the pets of the week can be viewed on www.facebook.com/garcpets and www.youtube.com.

Turtle and Symphony are available for adoption Tuesday through Saturday at the special rate of $42.50. Pet of the week adoptions include rabies vaccination, spay or neuter and microchip. For more information, call 409-948-2485 or visit www.arcpets.org. These and other pets are available at the Galveston County Animal Resource Center, 3412 25th Ave. N., in Texas City.
