This week’s Galveston County Animal Resource Center pets of the week are Brownie and Scottie.

Brownie (A009807) is a domestic short hair brown tabby kitten. He is about 4 1/2 months old, friendly, cuddly and curious. Brownie and his sister came to GCARC as tiny bottle babies and went to a foster home until they were big enough for adoption. Brownie is growing into a handsome teenager and ready to find his “fur-ever” people and home. Come get acquainted and fall in love.

Scottie (A010333) is a young, male, rat terrier mix with a huge personality. When Scottie first arrived at the shelter he was shy, but he has gained confidence rather quickly and is ready to show his true potential in a loving forever home. Do you have a place in your heart and home for this sweet boy?

Videos of the pets of the week can be viewed on www.facebook.com/garcpets and www.youtube.com.

Brownie and Scottie are available for adoption Tuesday through Saturday at the special rate of $42.50. Pet of the week adoptions include rabies vaccination, spay or neuter and microchip. For more information call 409-948-2485 or visit www.arcpets.org. These and other pets are available at the Galveston County Animal Resource Center, 3412 25th Ave. N., in Texas City.
