The Friendswood Animal Control pet of the week is Landry.

Landry is a handsome yellow lab, who is a gentle giant. He weighs 75 pounds and he loves to play ball! He’d be a great friend and loyal companion to any individual. He’d also be a great family dog for an active family who wants a dog to go walking, hiking or camping.

If you’d like to meet Landry, come by Friendswood Animal Control at 3000 W. Parkwood Avenue in Friendswood, or call 281-996-3390 to find out more about him.

Landry’s adoption fee is waived because like many dogs the facility has received after Hurricane Harvey, he is heartworm positive. However, funds have been raised to assist with his treatment. Adopters will receive Landry’s vaccines, neutering, microchipping and a vet exam where the vet will explain treatment options for Landry’s heartworm treatment.
