LA MARQUE — A training course for the Texas Department of Agriculture Commercial and Noncommercial pesticide applicator license exams will be April 2 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service-Galveston County Office.
This will be an all-day program and requires preregistration.
Participants will receive exam-prep instruction that will prepare them for the TDA General Standards exam, Laws and Regulations exam and either the Ornamental-Turf Pest Control category exam or the Right of Way category exam.
This course is intended for individuals seeking a pesticide license in order to apply pesticides, including restricted-use or state-limited use pesticides, for hire or as part of their job duties.
This course is not intended to prepare homeowners or agricultural producers for pesticide licensing.
All individuals wishing to apply pesticides to plants, trees, shrubs, grass or other horticultural plants for hire or as part of their job duties, must hold an applicator license.
