Do you know a youth who would like to check out cheerleading, get a kick out of karate or shoot hoops with a friend?
Maybe they would like to get creative with arts and crafts, take a crack at computers or try out tennis.
Or take a jab at boxing, tumble into gymnastics or score at sports camp.
The city of Galveston Parks and Recreation Department invites Galveston youth to participate in our super summer recreation program.
Parents and guardians can register youth under 18 years old now at the McGuire Dent and Wright Cuney Recreation centers.
Programs and activities will begin June 9 and run six weeks, depending on participation and funding.
Galveston Independent School District provides free breakfast at 8 a.m. and free lunch at noon. This program is open to any child under 18 years old.
