GALVESTON — St. Vincent’s House will have its FitFair and FunDay health event May 3 at the clinic.

The community is invited to enjoy exercise contests, health and nutrition exhibits and exercise demonstrations from community experts.

This year, the fun continues with another Hula Hoop Contest, a Jujitsu demonstration from the Tai-Jiu Temple of Health, Chair Aerobics from Island Wellness and Aquatic Fitness and the Hope Mile Walk.

Health exhibitors and sponsors include Dr. Williams Glenn III, Honey Child Prenatal Education Program, and others to be announced.

The St. Vincent’s staff also will be on hand to offer free testing for hypertension and high blood sugar.

Sponsors include the University of Texas Medical Branch’s School of Nursing and the city of Galveston Families, Children and Youth Board.

St. Vincent’s House invites everyone to drop in for fun, exercise and healthy living tips.
