Ways to help children through the grieving process

    I often wondered, as a child, how the Roadrunner fell off the very tall cliff, descended to the ground, then emerged a puffy dust image. Then, in the next scene Roadrunner usually was all intact - as if no trauma or injury occurred.

    Although, sometimes the Roadrunner did come back out all bandaged up and on crutches. I often think small children who watch cartoons like the Roadrunner obtain a false sense of life and death - and miss the realistic result of falling, and its subsequent injuries, or the living being's demise.
