GALVESTON

The Geriatric Outpatient clinics of the University of Texas Medical Branch will offer an educational seminar for caregivers of persons with memory loss at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the UTMB Primary Care Pavilion, 400 Harborside Drive, Suite 100.

Preregistration is required. Admission is free.

The Mother’s Healing Group will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at a disclosed location.

The group is for mothers grieving the loss of a child.

LEAGUE CITY

The Reconstruction of a Survivor breast cancer support group will have free meetings for those diagnosed and undergoing treatment and/or reconstruction from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 2098 W. Main St.

GALVESTON

The Survivors of Suicide Support Group of Galveston County will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moody Memorial Methodist Church, 2803 53rd St.

The group is designed to help family members and friends of suicide victims to share their experiences with grief, reach out for support and support others.
