HITCHCOCK — St. Vincent’s House will have the 13th annual Gospel by the Sea concert for the first time on the mainland at 6 p.m. June 14 at Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church, 6333 state Highway 6.

“Pastors of Song” is the theme, which will feature several Galveston County pastors and their choirs.

This year’s electrifying lineup of choirs includes: St. Vincent’s Preschool Choir “Seeds for Tomorrow,” The Galveston Heritage Chorale, the Rev. William Randall of Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church, the Rev. Andrew Berry of Greater Barbour’s Chapel Baptist Church, the Rev. Harold Block of Church of the Living God, the Rev. A.L. “Sandy” Bell of First Baptist Church, the Revs. Shirlyn and Emmanuel Thomas of God’s King and Restoration Ministries, the Rev. Ray Pinard of Moody First United Methodist Church, Apostle Sadallie Cole Sr. of True Deliverance Ministries in Killeen and the Rev. David Everson of First Union Baptist Church. There also will be a special guest performer.

The Rev. Charles Hudson, from 90.9FM KTSU — Houston’s Gospel Sunday Afternoon program — will be the master of ceremonies.

The concert is a free event; however, you must have a ticket in order to attend.
