The Mystic Krewe of Aquarius will present its 24th annual USO Show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus hall, 1912 Winnie St., in Galveston.

The annual talented review will feature an "All-Star" cast of Krewe members recreating numerous stars in a 24-act presentation, which will include an evening of song and dance, comedy, a cash bar, and the Krewe's popular "candy girls and guys," who will be selling snacks.

Tickets are $10 per person. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited though, so you better get there on time.

PAWS gala set for Saturday

The Galveston Island Humane Society's largest fundraiser of the year will be from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Galveston Island Convention Center, 5600 Seawall Blvd., in Galveston.

The event, which was rescheduled due to Hurricane Harvey, will feature dinner, live music, auctions and, of course, adorable pets!

'Stomp' at The Grand

If you love tap dancing on stage, then make sure you get your tickets for "Stomp," which can be seen at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at The Grand 1894 Opera House, 2020 Postoffice St., in Galveston.

Described as explosive, provocative, sophisticated, sexy, and utterly unique and appealing to audiences of all ages, the eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.

"Christmas Wonderland," a special holiday spectacular also can be seen at The Grand at 8 p.m. Nov. 24 and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 25. Tickets are going fast for this one, so don't miss out!

Free concert at COM

The College of the Mainland Concert Band will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Fine Arts Building Theatre on its campus, 1200 Amburn Road, in Texas City.

Directed by Sparky Koerner, some of the songs that will be featured are "Prologue from Hook," "Hedwig's Theme," "Theme from E.T." and "Raiders March."

The band, which is a mixture of students and adults from the community, is open to anyone interested in joining the band.

BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival

The rescheduled eighth annual BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival is set for Nov. 24 through Nov. 26 at Moody Gardens, 1 Hope Blvd., in Galveston.
