Early registration for the 2014 fall semester is in progress. Early registration hours for fall classes are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
General registration for the fall semester will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday Aug. 18 through Aug. 21. Late registration will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 22 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 23. Fall semester classes begin Aug. 25.

Galveston College’s Electrical/Electronic courses are taught by experienced industry experts able to provide hands-on training in basic electrical theory, national electrical code and conduit bending, residential and commercial wiring, power distribution, transformer principles and test equipment, motor controls, advanced industrial control, solid state controls and industrial automation, electronic circuitry, AC/DC theory, digital electronics and programmable logic controllers.

New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation is required for all first-time, full-time entering students registering for credit classes. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Students may choose either a face-to-face or online orientation. Face-to-face sessions held in the Seibel Wing West Room will be 1 p.m. Wednesday 3 p.m. July 24, 9 a.m. Aug. 4, 1 p.m. Aug. 7, 9 a.m. Aug. 18, 9 a.m. Aug. 19, 9 a.m. Aug. 20, 9 a.m. Aug. 21 and, 9 a.m. Aug. 22.
Orientation sessions provide students with information on the many services available at Galveston College. In addition, qualified students are also able to register early for courses.
Online orientation for new students
Eligible students will have access to the online orientation session. Students must have applied to admissions and received their GC student ID number.
