The Clear Creek Education Foundation is in the spotlight once again as we present the eighth annual I Love CCISD Fashion Show on April 27 at Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz in League City.

Our fashion show will debut a new format and showcase many things CCEF loves about CCISD. Complete with runway seating, hors d’oeuvre stations provided by local restaurants and talent vignettes featuring CCISD students, this is definitely one event you don’t want to miss.

The I Love CCISD Fashion Show is being directed by national fashion event producer Lenny Matuszewski Jr. with fashions provided by Dillard’s at Baybrook Mall. The models are all CCISD high school juniors in good academic standing, involved in school and community activities and who demonstrate all that is positive about CCISD.

And if you look closely you might see a principal or two strutting the runway.

Lily Dickson from Gilmore Elementary was the winning artist of the I Love CCISD art contest, and her artwork was printed on T-shirts sold in support of the event.

We are excited to have CCISD students providing entertainment throughout the event, including demonstrations from Clear Falls VEX robotics team and audio visual production team, music from the League City Intermediate Steel Band, and the Clear Creek HS Cavaliers Officer’s dance team.

All funds raised from the Fashion Show will be used to support these CCEF programs:

• Teacher Innovative Grants: CCEF supports teachers in creating and implementing innovative lessons with hands-on instructional ideas that enrich the classroom learning experience. Past recipients of Teacher Innovative Grants will be on hand at the fashion show to showcase their innovative ideas.

• National Board Teacher Certification: CCEF encourages teachers to achieve the highest and most rigorous standards set by the U.S. Department of Education by offering its financial support.

• Clear Horizons Early College High School: CCEF supplements instruction for students who simultaneously earn a college associate degree and a high school diploma.

• Technology Education Labs: CCEF provides robotics and audio/video production labs at the intermediate level to provide students the critical knowledge and soft skills needed for technology education in today’s workplace.

We hope that you will join us in supporting educational excellence in the Clear Creek Independent School District through this one-of-a-kind event that is sure to be fun for the entire family. More information can be found on our website,
