Shopping local farmer’s markets not only supports farmers and small businesses, but encourages cultural exploration on campus.
Sponsored by the University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Office of Intercultural Student Services, the farmer’s market brings together the student population at UHCL and the health benefits of eating locally grown, fresh foods.

Local college students showcase work
Celebrate the creative minds of college students at the 20th annual Student Conference for Research and Creative Arts at UH-Clear Lake.
Student work from UHCL and other local universities will be displayed April 14-17 in the university’s Atrium I, Bayou Building.
Attendees will have the chance to experience student work, attend presentations and listen in on panel discussions about student work.

Registration begins for kid’s summer programs
UH-Clear Lake’s Center for Educational Programs is registering for the Kids U educational summer camps, with instruction covering a multitude of topics. With Critter Camp for preschoolers and SAT Writing for high school seniors, the lineup of fun and educational programs has something for everyone.
Courses are offered from June 9 to July 31 with varying times and locations. Course fees range from $129 to $179.
