Julie M. Shepherd; The Unknown Heirs of William Nelson
McClintock; William Shepherd, Maude Walker, Archie Eaton,
Minnie Kerstens, Luella Yokum, Viola Easton, Ira P. Eaton,
Charles E. Eaton, Bertram Eaton, William Eaton and Isabelle
Pope or, if deceased, their Unknown Heirs, (as possible

You are each hereby notified that a hearing will be held at
10:00 o=clock a.m., on the first Monday after the expiration
of forty-two (42) days from the date of issuance hereof, that
is to say Monday, the 7 day of August, 2017, and at Jimmie T.
Walker Community Center, 800 Harris Avenue, Kemah, TX
77565, to assess the damages of the owner of the property being
condemned.
The State of Texas filed a First Amended Petition for
Condemnation with the Judge of the County Court at Law No.
2 of Galveston County, Texas, on the _21st day of June, 2017,
in Cause No. CV-0078862 which is styled The State of Texas
v. CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC, a Texas limited
liability company. The Plaintiff is the State of Texas. The
Defendants are: The Unknown Heirs of Nellie B. League and
Daisy L. Davis; Pamela Gray Baldwin, Catherine Remenick,
Cynthia Milani, Jennifer Baldwin Milani, and Christina H. Milani,
possible Heirs of Law of Daisy L. Davis, deceased; The Unknown
Heirs of William D. Shepherd and wife, Julie M. Shepherd;
The Unknown Heirs of William Nelson McClintock; William
Shepherd, Maude Walker, Archie Eaton, Minnie Kerstens,
Luella Yokum, Viola Easton, Ira P. Eaton, Charles E. Eaton,
Bertram Eaton, William Eaton and Isabelle Pope or, if deceased,
their Unknown Heirs, (as possible Heirs of William Nelson
McClintock, Deceased), and, if any of them be deceased, their
respective heirs and legal representatives, if any.
The name and address of the attorney for Plaintiff is Glorieni
Azeredo, Assistant Attorney General, P.O. Box 12548, Austin,
Texas, 78711-2548.
This suit is an eminent domain proceeding in which the State
of Texas is condemning a tract of land located in Galveston
County, Texas, containing 4.975 acres (216,701 square feet)
parcel of land situated in the M. Muldoon Two League Grant,
Abstract No. 18, and the R. Basquez Survey, A-32, Galveston
County, Texas, being out of and a part of a 40.293 acre
tract of land comprised of the sum of that certain called
14.866 acre tract of land conveyed from Everett A. Hanson,
Jr. and wife, Ruth Y. Hanson to CenterPoint Energy Houston
Electric, LLC. (formerly Houston Lighting and Power
Company) by deed dated March 16, 1961 and recorded
under Volume 1429, Page 17 of the Galveston County Deed
Records (G.C.D.R.), that certain called 10.71 acre tract
of land conveyed from Solomon J. Gordy and wife, Ruth
Weeks Gordy to CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC.
(formerly Houston Lighting and Power Company) by deed
dated June 11, 1963 and recorded under Volume 1563, Page
669 of said Deed Records, and that certain called 9.742 acre
tract of land conveyed from Ralph S. Gordy and wife, Annie
Mae Gordy to CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC.
(formerly Houston Lighting and Power Company) by deed
dated October 1, 1963 and recorded under Volume 1587,
Page 258 of said Deed Records, and a 4.975 acre tract of
land that is the westerly half of the Union Pacific Railroad
easement that abuts said called 14.866 acre tract, said 10.71
acre tract, and said 9.742 acre tract of land; said 4.975 acre
tract of land being more fully described in Exhibit AA@ of
Plaintiff=s First Amended Petition for Condemnation filed under
the above-referenced cause number.
The interests of these Defendants are that they either own or
claim an interest in said property, subject to unpaid accrued
taxes.
You are further notified that you may appear at the hearing
before the Special Commissioners and present evidence you
desire on the issue of damages to be assessed against the State.
If you do not appear at the hearing, the Special Commissioners
may proceed to assess the damages of the owner of the property
being condemned.
If this Notice is not served within ninety (90) days after its
issuance, it shall be returned forthwith.
