Meet Magnum! This handsome black and white lab mix was found as a stray on the island and nobody ever came looking for this sweet boy. He’s about three years old, has a loving and kind personality and would be great for an active family as he has tons of spunk. He is also very attentive to humans and would probably respond very well to some basic training. Stop by to meet this sweet boy today!

If you want the ultimate fun kitten, stop by to meet Dessie! This four month old solid black female kitten has been nicknamed the Ultimate Ninja Kitten. She’s frisky, loves to play and is always the first to greet visitors with the loudest purr. This fun loving kitten would be the perfect fit for any family!

Our shelter offers spay and neuter assistance to Galveston Island

A reminder: the City of Galveston requires current registration (2014) of all pets. Registration and city tags are available at the shelter. You must bring proof of a current rabies vaccination and also something showing whether the pets is spayed or neutered. The cost is only $5 if they are fixed, and $50 if not.
