We are running a special all month long on our fabulous Tabby & Tortie (Tortoiseshell) cats! Come by the shelter or check the website to view and visit our feline family!

All cat and dog adopters get a free tag with each adoption. Adoptions

include the spay or neuter surgery, a microchip, current vaccinations, and a month of pet insurance. These featured pets have an adoption sponsor

allowing the adoption fee of $25 for this week only!

Pandora is a 5 ½ year old female cat with a super soft short haired brown/tan tabby coat and big yellow-green eyes. She is a family friendly kitty who will sometimes play fetch, but is mostly a couch potato. Pandora is an inside only cat who likes to sit on windowsills and investigate as her world passes by. Stop by the shelter to see if she may be your next family member.

Princess is and adorable 5 year old Retriever mix who has a chocolate and light brown coat with soft brown eyes. She came in with her brother Bubba, a 3 year old Heeler mix, when their owners moved and the dogs were not allowed on the new property. These two are very active, silly and playful. They like toys, playing in the water, tug of war and fetch. They also think they are small lap dogs! They are a bit shy with new visitors but are great around children. These two also know basic commands and are fully house and kennel trained. If you have space in your heart and home they would love to be adopted together!

Our shelter offers spay and neuter assistance to Galveston Island

residents.

A reminder: the City of Galveston requires current registration (2014) of all pets. Registration and city tags are available at the shelter. You must bring proof of a current rabies vaccination and also something showing whether the pets is spayed or neutered. The cost is only $5 if they are fixed, and $50 if not.
