Patrick F. Doyle has been elected to Texas First Bank’s board of directors, Matthew T. Doyle, chairman of the board, announced last week.
Patrick Doyle has served as an advisory director on the board of Texas Independent Bancshares Inc. He also has served as legal counsel for Texas First Bank and Texas Independent Bancshares.
He is founder and managing partner of the Doyle Law Firm, as well as owner of Texan Title Holdings, the parent company of South Land Title, Prominent Title and Security Abstract & Title Company of Abilene.
Among the honors bestowed on him, Doyle was Citizen of the Year for the Texas City-LaMarque Chamber of Commerce in 2000. He was inducted into the Texas City ISD Hall of Honor in October of 2011 and was named Honorary Citizen of the Year by the Bolivar Chamber of Commerce.
Doyle also served two terms as the Galveston County Commissioner for Precinct 1. While serving as a county commissioner, he began his annual nonprofit fishing tournament, a nonprofit that has raised nearly $800,000 for local charities and has also given some proceeds to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
Doyle and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for 27 years and have four children: Allie, Shannon, Thomas and Andrew. They are members of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Community and reside in Texas City.
