A Year in Space Brothers Scott and Mark Kelly have been among the most famous symbols of NASA in recent times, and this 2016 special examines their experiences, both in space and at home on Earth. Scott is seen training for his 12 months aboard the International Space Station, which concluded just before this program first aired. His identical twin Mark is used as a basis for gauging any changes in Scott, physically and mentally, during his time in orbit.

7 p.m. on FOX Empire Anika and Hakeem (Grace Byers, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) vie for custody of Bella in the new episode “Fortune Be Not Crost.” The related trial brings forth surprises for the entire family, many of them revealed by Anika’s legal team. Claudia (guest star Demi Moore) tries to exert more influence over Lucious (Terrence Howard), whose paintings prove to be revelations for him. Becky (Gabourey Sidibe) is surprised by the return of an old boyfriend. Taraji P. Henson also stars.

7 p.m. on NBC The Blacklist Tom (Ryan Eggold) was missing from this show during the “Redemption” spinoff, and he’s absent again — but apparently not by his own volition this time — as this drama presents its fall finale, “Ian Garvey.” Liz (Megan Boone) follows his last steps before he disappeared to try to find him. The mystery of the suitcase continues even without Tom being present, and Red’s (James Spader) interest in it foreshadows a showdown for all concerned. Harry Lennix and Diego Klattenhoff also star.
