The Simpsons Mr. Burns (voice of Harry Shearer) takes it upon himself to determine the survival of Springfield’s fittest in the new episode “Frink Gets Testy.” Certain that doomsday is around the corner, he enlists Professor Frink (voice of Hank Azaria) to administer tests to all the residents to indicate who should outlive the disaster. The Simpson family is rocked by the results. Regular voice-cast members include Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith.
7 p.m. on CBS Wisdom of the Crowd In the last scheduled episode of the series, “The Tipping Point,” Alex (Monica Potter) is present as Carlos Ochoa (guest star Ramses Jimenez) — who was arrested for Mia’s murder — has his hearing for his possible release. Cavanaugh (Richard T. Jones) probes a homicide in which the victim was a conspiracy theorist who used Sophe frequently. Jeremy Piven, Natalia Tena, Blake Lee and Jake Matthews also star.
8 p.m. on NBC Movie: Ride Along Comedian Kevin Hart’s movie success was confirmed by the surprisingly strong box-office showing of this 2014 action comedy, with Hart as a security guard determined to prove himself to his prospective fiancee’s (Tika Sumpter) Atlanta policeman brother (Ice Cube). The men go on patrol together, only to run into a case bigger than either of them could have imagined. Director Tim Story’s (“Fantastic Four”) cast also includes Laurence Fishburne and John Leguizamo.
8 p.m. on ABC Shark Tank Two of the product pitchers are spouses in this new episode, as the Atlanta couple presents a process for breading seafood. Also, a means of communication between pets and their owners is demonstrated by a Mississippi woman, and San Diego inventors have advice — and something to back it up with — for men with long hair. An update on a software aid for early education is presented as well. Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner are among the Sharks.
