NFL Football The Philadelphia Eagles (13-3) entered the NFL Playoffs as the top in the NFC, riding the arm of Carson Wentz who suffered a season ending injury late in the season. Enter Nick Foles, who was once the starting quarterback for the Eagles and is now once again. The Eagles open the Divisional round of the playoffs at home in the “City of Brotherly Love” where their fans will surely make their opponent feel less than welcome.
7 p.m. on ABC Movie: Flushed Away “Wallace & Gromit” fans voiced reservations about its “W&G” look without using the “W&G” creation method, but this animated, family friendly 2006 film features Hugh Jackman as the voice of Roddy, a pampered pet mouse who accidentally gets flushed down a toilet and winds up in the sewers. He’s no sewer rat, though: He’s rather uptown and not used to slumming it, so he needs to rely on those who know the terrain. Kate Winslet, Ian McKellen and Jean Reno also provide voices.
7 p.m. on HBO Movie: The Fate of the Furious This eighth installment in the hit movie franchise finds Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) settled down with wife Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) until Cipher (Charlize Theron), a cyber-terrorist, coerces him into turning against his team and working for her. Needless to say, the others are not OK with that, so they set out to find Dom and take down this new nemesis. Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Scott Eastwood also star in this 2017 action flick.
