Brisk east to southeast winds in conjunction with a thunderstorm complex offshore and a strong pressure gradient have resulted in a Gale Warning for off-shore waters and a Coastal Flood Advisory for Gulf facing beaches until 4 pm.

• Coastal Flood Advisory

• Marine Warning

The off-shore rains are indirectly related to a stalled frontal boundary over Southeast Texas and low pressure over northeast Mexico and northern Louisiana. While winds should gradually subside today, rain chances will continue off and on through the end of the week.

• Tidal Gauge at Pier 21

• 7-day precipitation outlook
