Summer's coming

The beach is such a convenient backdrop for photography because it is, but also because of the symbolism of the ocean, against which we will always be fragile and small.

The crowds over Easter weekend confirmed my hopes — the ocean was warm enough and the next six months will see my family at the beach often.

Lying on the sand, its warmth penetrating the skin, the sun dancing above in circles, we manage to capture the idea of timelessness. Out of body, simply dreaming while the skin synthesizes Vitamin D for health and happiness.

As long as you don't forget adequate sunscreen ... .
