Spring break brought the crowds back to the beaches but the people looking for serenity can always find it at the bayside during sunset.

As the evening light pours over the lagoons and inlets, the fishermen wade into the shallows, the fish jump into the dusky sky and the Longtail glides past a setting sun.

The element of surprise is surely one of the greatest perks in nature photography. Despite certain denominators that will point to localities attracting certain species of birds or marine-life, there is no guarantee to see any of them at any given moment in time. One works with what one gets and hopes to draw from it the most.
