Dickens, the annual holiday street festival, allows festival-goers to dress in their best 19th-century Victorian London garb. Locals and visitors flood downtown Galveston ready to take in all the 44-year old festival has to offer. With creative freedom, many people go above and beyond with costumes while others remain more casual. However one dresses, the festival features entertainment in the form of music, shopping, costumed vendors and a lot of food. Here are a select few of the many faces of Dickens on The Strand.
