Fighting for Josh

On Jan. 19, we ran a story about former Santa Fe basketball player Josh Butler and his fight with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

We are happy to report that a benefit held in Butler's honor on Jan. 20 was a great success. His wife, Jennifer, said that 700 barbecue dinners were sold in less than three hours.

"We feel very loved and cared for, which is a great feeling," she said. "Although Josh's situation is challenging, it is no different than the challenges faced by countless others all over the world everyday."
