Tamra George, top left, Diane Manley, top right, Bob McEuen, bottom left, and Molly White were honored and recognized at the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Galveston County annual volunteer appreciation event at the Sea Star Base on Aug. 16. Vicki Spriggs, CEO of Texas CASA Association, was the keynote speaker.

White received the Advocate of the Year Award; George received the Education Advocacy Award; Manley received the Medical Advocacy Award; and McEuen received the Innovator Advocacy Award.

These awards were given to those volunteers that provided stellar advocacy that improved the lives of the vulnerable children they serve. All advocate volunteers were recognized for their service and dedication to the mission of CASA of Galveston County.
