A district championship is a major accomplishment for any school in any sport. Landon Etzel, the 2015-16 Galveston County boys athlete of the year, led Clear Creek to three this past school year.
Saturday morning, live shrimp supplies at most bait camps were out by 8 a.m. or earlier. Live croaker inventories were spotty, and most anglers were willing to take croaker in lieu of shrimp.
