Mission statement

To be the first choice of clients by executing quality work through continuing education, training, and teamwork.

Products that perform

The salon is now offering a new OPI nail polish collection, "Just Beachy" With revisiting a collection of colors from the past, these hot intros are being brought back for summer. Colors include: Cajun Shrimp, La Pazitively Hot, Pamplona Purple, and No Room for the Blues.

Training and education

Leslie and LuLu attended the Image Expo May 19 & 20 in Houston at the George R. Brown convention center. LuLu was invited and attended a VIP party hosted by Princess Beauty Professional. Leslie was able to meet and greet with Tabatha Coffey, author, and star of her own reality show on bravo "Tabatha's Salon Takeover".

In Las Vegas, Erin attended an intense 2-day Aquage Master Academy training in Long Hairdressing and Haircutting. LuLu networked with the industry's elite and celebrated with some of the great beauty artists at the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA), the most prestigious photographic beauty. This event is the beauty industry¹s Academy Awards. LuLu is honored to have been a past nominee. Mario Lopez, Extra correspondent and runner up in "Dancing with the Star's" was this year's NAHA 2013 Host & Beautiful Humanitarian Honoree.

Heather, Kathy, Keisha, and LuLu attended a John Sahag dry haircutting technique class. This system unlike traditional wet cutting practices empowers the stylist to visualize and control the shape of the hairstyle. The Sahag Cut takes time, patience, and concentration and years to master. Understanding how to sculpture and carve precision shapes leads to framing the face. Hair appears to simply fall into place. LuLu had the privilege to study The Sahag cutting with artists that trained with the Legendary John Sahag. She uses that system in her teachings. Lulu then left for L.A. to teach a hair cutting class at Anthony's and Company Salon.

What's trending

Want those natural soft wavy curls with some volume and fullness without sticky and heavy products? Want that beachy look without going to the beach.

Aquage Sea Salt Texturizing Spray is the answer. It's a volume-building styling spray infused with magnesium-rich Dead Sea salts that:

* Enhances strand separation and definition

* Add thickness and helps create random texture

* Provides firm-hold and dramatically increases volume without stiffness

Use a blow-dryer set on low air and heat or a blow dryer fitted with a diffuser set on high heat and airflow. You will dry hair gently to achieve a natural, softly tousled texture with volume and definition. Now you have a less voluminous look that allows hair to dry naturally.
