The experience of competing in the Junior Olympics is old hat for a local quartet of athletes, which becomes even more obvious given their poised attitudes with the event just ahead.
Other than the extreme afternoon heat, Saturday’s conditions were near ideal for fishing. The surf gave up good numbers of trout along with Spanish mackerel, jack crevalle, sheepshead, stingrays, sharks and a few reds.
A technician, Omar has been with Doctor Cool for six years, and is originally from Honduras. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two girls, Maritcihie and Miliru. His favorite thing about being a technician at Dr. Cool is traveling and being able to meet new people every day.
Jonathan has been with Doctor Cool for six months and has worked in the industry for six years. He now lives in Santa Fe, where he grew up, with his fiancé Ashley. Jonathan served in the army overseas in Iraq, and Doctor Cool is honored to have him in the Doctor Cool Family.
He loves to fish, hunt and play golf in his spare time. When you see Jonathan, pat him on the back for a job well done!
Nick has been with Doctor cool for one year and has worked in the industry for six years. He lives in Texas City and has two daughters, Addison and Kailyn.
He enjoys interacting with all types of people on a day-to-day basis but when he is not on the clock he enjoys working out and watching the Texans football.
